We focus on STEM. The subjects and skills needed for 21st century success. It's more than an acronym: it is about collaborating, communicating, critical thinking and creativity. In addition, we work at making learning purposeful and give our students the "why" behind the lesson.

brick labs expos

Every 4 to 6 weeks parents join us to engage in their child's learning journey. Expos are held after school where students present a major project involving the application of a variety of subjects. Its a true demonstration of their mastery in specific areas. Expo Themes include: Engineering, Robotics, Visual Arts, Canada, The City, Financial Literacy, Science and Performing Arts to name a few.

Throughout the year, we bring in subject matter experts to engage with students on their EXPO projects. Scheduled for 2023/24 we have engineers, financial advisors, architects, artists & musicians, writers and more. Its a great way for students to get real feedback, learn about careers and develop a network of supporters.

Our students regularly engage in the discussion of values: what they are and the role they play in navigating personal decisions. By encouraging the discussion of values, students learn to respect themselves and the choices of others.
